Hetauda Farm House

Nestled in the foothills of the exotic Himalayas, the Lifecycle Hetauda Farm House offers travellers an experience of a wildlife. The resort is just a three-hour drive south of Kathmandu towards the Terai plains. Access to the resort is on foot across a suspension bridge and through a bamboo forest. The Farm House is set among rice paddies at the edge of the Rapti River.

The Farm House was started by four Nepali cycling enthusiasts who are keenly involved in promoting mountain biking as a sport and Nepal as a premier mountain biking destination. Nepal has some of the most diverse terrain in the world with wide variations across a small area, making it an exciting and unique mountain biking destination.

Accommodation at the Farm House is natural and comfortable and spacious in twin share rooms. Food is simple and delicious, and cooked by local chef Radha Didi – an expert at making food that is good for you! The Farm House offers many activities in addition to riding. If you want to take life at a slower pace, you can explore the Chepang and Tamang villages around the resort. Go on a cultural tour, see how farm life changes through the seasons, and make friends with the locals. After a day of activity you can relax with a shiatsu massage to stimulate your muscles or cool off in our natural spring water pool or in a hammock. If you are interested in cooking, Radha Didi can teach you how to cook fragrant Nepali dishes.

So, get on your bike and get riding in Nepal!
